On a busy Beirut street, Sahar Zain’s younger sister carries one of their baby sister while trying to sell bubble gum to passersby. Her face, quiet and focused, reveals a childhood already hardened by responsibility. With no school, no protection, and no future promised, Sahar moves through the world like an adult in a child’s body.
The toddler in her arms sobs openly, too young to understand the weight of their reality. But Sahar cannot stop. Survival doesn’t allow rest. Her presence in the street is both a cry for help and a symbol of silent endurance.
